The past exists within the present, it defines us in the form of memories and experiences. The image is a mélange of her memories, her trials and tribulations, reminiscences and her interpretations of situations from different periods of her life. The image attempts to answer why people draw on their past and their experiences to react to situations in a very individualistic way.
